ਆਤਮ ਪਰਗਾਸ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਵੈਲਫ਼ੇਅਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ

Atam Pargas organized ‘Village Adoption Day’ at Guru Nanak Sen. Sec. School, Bassian on September 7, 2015 to educate farmers to avoid excessive use of chemicals and burning of rice straw. Dr. Nachhattar Singh, VC, Guru Kashi University graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Dr. Varinderpal Singh educated farmers to follow leaf colour chart and other resource management recommendations of PAU to improve soil health and save environment. Dr. Sukhpal Singh, Chief Agriculture Officer, Ludhiana ensured the support of Agriculture Department to support the noble initiates of Atam Pargas. The students of the PAU interacted with the farmers to resolve their issues related to precision farming.
