More than 300 delegates from different corners of the country
participated in the First National Level Students Personality
Development Workshop held at Gursikh Academy, Bhadurgarh, Patiala from
September 30 to October 2, 2016. Dr. Brijpal Singh, Ex-Professor, Lal
Bahadur Shashtri Academy of Administration, Missouri delivered inaugural
address on ‘Integration of Education and Skills with Goodness/Virtues.
Dr. Varinderpal Singh, Chairman, Atam Pargas and Senior Soil Scientist,
PAU, Ludhiana captivated the mind of audience with inspirational talk on
‘Our Heritage Our Glory’. He also gave thought-provoking session on
‘Aim of Our Life’. Dr. Brijpal Singh delivered another talk on ‘Time
Management’. The delegates enjoyed session by Dr. Sarabjit Singh,
Professor of Journalism, PAU, Ludhiana, on the topic ‘How to Enjoy the
Eternal Bliss’. Dr. Mandeep Singh, Thappar University, Patiala inspired
the students to achieve big and attain success with determination. Dr.
Inderjit Kaur, Patron, Atam Pargas and President, Pingalwara in her
address shared inspirations from the life of Bhagat Puran Singh Ji and
also educated on the best practices for a healthy lifestyle and the
steps required for the conservation of natural resources. In another
fascinating session S. Urvinder Singh guided the students about the
strategy to choose stream/subjects for higher education. Dr. Nachhatar
Singh, Director Atam Pargas and Ex-VC, Guru Kashi University, Talwandi
Sabo showed the path to develop ourselves as truthful human being.
Sports activities, teacher training session and turban training workshop
were also organized in the evenings on different days. Dr. Varinderpal
Singh organized the ‘Quiz Competition’ during the concluding session and
refreshed the students with the highlights of the workshops. The
workshop concluded with the closing sendoff message by Dr. Tejinder
Kaur, Chairperson, Punjab School Education Board. The beauty of the
conference was that there was no formal activity and every fraction of
second was utilized for concrete discussions. All were found highly
passionate and energetic to take up the mission of ‘Grooming
Outperforming Students as Truthful Human Beings’.
