Tree Plantation Campaign | Govt. Primary School, Kutbewal, Ludhiana | 12 Jul, 2017
The PAU unit of the Atam Pargas
Social Welfare Council launched a tree plantation campaign on July 11,
2017. On next day, 12 July 2017 the second phase of the campaign was
launched at Government Primary School,Village Kutbewal,Ludhiana. The
event commenced with the tree plantation in school premises by Principal
Ranjeet Singh and Sarpanch Darshan Singh. The Atam Pargas volunteers
distributed saplings to the students. The students and the Atam Pargas
team first planted trees in the school premises and later in the
periphery of the village. The students were really excited to
participate in the campaign and promised to nurture the trees. Every
student will nurture one sapling and will ensure its growth as a tree.
Around 170 trees were planted in this phase of the campaign.
